Testimonials By Contract Employees Who Struck It Rich!

We'd Like To Hear From You
If reading The Contract Employee's Handbook has helped you succeed as a contract employee, we'd like to hear about it, and so would others out there in your same position. How did you pull it off? What information helped you the most? What obstacles did you have to overcome? Don't you just feel like shouting it to the world?

Nothing inspires like success, and if you can do it so can anyone else. Report your personal testimonial in our Guestbook. If your story is long, send it via e-mail. Please tell us who you are, and the relevant details (You know -- how, who, what, where, when & why). Give us a nickname to use if you wish to remain anonymous. We'll print your testimonial in this space.

Dear Dan:

Just quickly browsed the newest version of your handbook, it's great. I will be looking at it in more detail soon and will send additional comments (more likely, compliments) for the great effort. I've told a half-dozen other managers at [my employer] about your handbook and they are interested.

Please continue to keep me on the list for future versions. I'm not planning to leave [my employer] in the near future, but with the [recent corporate] takeover I may not have the option of staying. That's why your handbook is so valuable. It gives me a positive and healthy outlook if in fact that day comes sooner than I planned for. Signed: Martin (10/2/97)

Running Tally of Increased Earnings

Dungaree Dan Wants To Know!
Dungaree Dan want's to document in real dollars and cents just how much he has helped other contract employees improve their standard of living. Have you increased your pay rate by applying the knowledge and methods you learned in The Contract Employee's Handbook?

Dan's immediate goal is to document increased earnings by contract employees totaling One Million Dollars. For example, Dungaree Dan's predecessor earned $25/hr on a $70/hr bill rate, but Dan knew how to negotiate a pay rate of $50/hr on the same bill rate. That's a difference of $25/hr. Over a 2000-hour work year, that computes to an increase of $50,000/yr. Dan's success is documented in the first line of the table below. Your increase may be larger or smaller, but whatever the dollar amount, send us the data, and we'll add it to the running total.
