    • This non-commercial, public service web site delivers unbiased information designed to help W-2 contract employees manage their contracting careers.
    • Topics include a comprehensive overview of the contracting profession, specific job search techniques, types of employment agencies and their services, pay rates, legal issues, and benefits packages.

    1996 - Present: Principal Instructor and Trainer for the Contract Employee's Workshop.

    • The Contract Employee's Workshop is an all-day seminar that expands on the principles and methods discussed in The Contract Employee's Handbook.
    • The workshop is offered to HR departments as an outplacement counseling tool for downsized permanent employees, and to individual contract employees who want to succeed in their careers.

    1996 - Present: Director of P.A.C.E. -- Professional Association of Contract Employees (http://www.pacepros.com).

    • P.A.C.E. sponsors The Contract Employee's Handbook, and The Contract Employee's Workshop. P.A.C.E. offers a unique umbrella service to contract workers that combines the advantages of Contract Employment, Self-Employment, and Corporate Employment in One Program.

    • Jerzy Technical Services provides contracting and consulting services in the areas of Web Site Design and Development, Technical Writing, and Documentation Management.

    1996 - 1997: Technical Contractor @ Pacific Bell, SRV Offices, San Ramon, CA.

    • Assigned to Data Warehouse Development Team.
    • Performed Budget Analysis: Evaluated contract labor expenses for Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Organization. Reconciled actual payment vouchers against budgeted amounts.
    • Tracked Project Status: Employed ManagePro goal management software. Tracked team progress for three key components of the Data Warehouse development program.
    • Produced training tools and software documentation using FrameMaker document publishing software and HiJaak screen capture software.

    • Recruited and hired Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Staff Developer, Registered Dietitian, Cooks, Housekeepers and Maintenance Personnel.
