This non-commercial, public service web site delivers unbiased information designed to help W-2 contract employees manage their contracting careers. Topics include a comprehensive overview of the contracting profession, specific job search techniques, types of employment agencies and their services, pay rates, legal issues, and benefits packages.
Designed, built and maintained Pacific Bell's Financial Data Warehouse Technical Publications and Documentation Management web site. Site includes: Instructions for Users, On-line Document Request Form, Document Development Life Cycle, Staff Profiles and Capabilities, Tools and Resources, and Web Interface to the Document Management System Search Engine. Note: You may access a facsimile of The Data Warehouse Technical Publications and Documentation Management Web Site. Understand, of course, links to the document management system and to other sites within the Pacific Bell firewall will not operate.
Built the web interface to Pacific Bell's Financial Data Warehouse Document Library, providing five methods of searching for and retrieving legacy documents. Creator, Principal Instructor and Trainer for the Contract Employee's Workshop, an all-day seminar that expands on the principles and methods presented in The Contract Employee's Handbook. The Workshop is marketed to the general public and to human resource departments as a training tool for recently downsized permanent employees and inexperienced contract workers.
Founder and Director of P.A.C.E. -- Professional Association of Contract Employees. P.A.C.E. sponsors The Contract Employee's Handbook, and The Contract Employee's Workshop. P.A.C.E. offers a unique umbrella service to contract workers that combines the advantages of Contract Employment, Self-Employment, and Corporate Employment in One Program.
